Il giorno lunedì 16 febbraio 2026 alle ore 17 si è svolta nelle tre sale principali del Palazzo
Valentini, sede centrale della Prefettura di Roma, la mostra internazionale di arte della nota artista
multidisciplinare spagnola di fama internazionale Charo Marin (www.charomarin.com), già
collaboratrice del Museo Guggenheim.
L’artista annovera mostre in tutto il mondo ed era suo proposito portare le sue opere a Roma. In
Spagna alcune sue opere sono esposte nei musei nazionali, e non solo, in passato le ha esibite
anche al Grand Palais di Parigi.
L’argomento scelto è quello dell’infanzia, infatti la mostra è intitolata: “Sua Santità l’Infanzia”.
Questa Esposizione, desidera toccare una tematica a tutti noi cara, quella del mondo dei bambini e
del periodo dell’infanzia.
Partecipano inoltre altri artisti europei sulla stessa tematica. Dalla Polonia, Austria, Romania,
Francia e Usa: Angela Tomaselli, Herbert Schügerl, Daniela Frumuseanu, Vasile Pop-Negresteanu,
Mireille Weinland, Mireya Power, Lukasz L Wodyńsky e Sol Ruíz Navarro. Illustreranno le storie dei
loro dipinti.
La mostra è a cura di Mayura Malenotti.
Hanno collaborato Paolo Dragonetti de Torres Rutili, fondatore del Salotto Convivium, e Rita
Padovano per i rapporti istituzionali.
L’evento è stato preceduto dal saluto del consigliere Mariano Angelucci, presidente della
commissione capitolina Turismo, Moda e Relazioni Internazionali. Sono intervenuti Benito
Corradini, presidente della Fondazione La Sponda, Roberto Simon rappresentante della stampa
estera con Rita Padovano, che hanno presentato l’artista e dettagli dei quadri esposti.
L’avvio della mostra con il taglio del nastro istituzionale e la benedizione di padre Josè Maria
Tortosa.
In seguito si è esibita l’attrice Sara Biacchi, di recente ha eseguito la Piaf al Teatro Petrolini,
accompagnata musicalmente dal “Amoroso Duo” di Vehbija Hodzic alla fisarmonica e Senka Slipac
al violino.
Tra gli ospiti il Messia di Rossellini Pier Maria Rossi, la contessa Chiara Anguissola d’Altoè, l’autore
e conduttore Rai Stefano Bini, la stilista Eleonora Altamore, l’ex ambasciatore a Madrid Pietro
Sebastiani, la presenza della celebre costuista di Hollywood Raffaella Fantasia, conosciuta per aver
partecipato in film del calibro di “Il talento di Mr. Ripley (1999), il fotografo Pepito Torres,
l’impreditore Manuele Malenotti, Karina Marino inviata di Bella Italia, l’imprenditore Lamberto
Mancini ex direttore del Festival del Cinema, Nicoletta Rossotti della Accademia Internazionale
Medicea, la creatrice del “certamen” di poesia in latino alla Sapienza Michelina Panichi, le artiste
Eleonora Gangi e Claudia Quintieri con il fotografo di fama internazionale Roberto Vignoli, il
giornalista Fabrizio Federici, Francesca Maria Rutili e l’architetto Paolo Colucci.
La serata si è conclusa con un brindisi dedicato a tutti i bambini del mondo.
La mostra si potrà visitare fino al 27 febbraio 2026 da lunedì a venerdì dalle 10 alle ore 18 con
ingresso libero, e principalmente sarà costituita dalle opere dell’artista consiste in una serie di
dipinti a libera espressività e storie interiori: 13 dipinti ad olio di ½ metri senza un pensiero
razionale, disposti senza un marco appositamente, ma lasciati liberi nell’aria a mo’ di bandiere, che
svolazzeranno e prendono le forme che vorranno, facendo riaffiorare ricordi e fantasie anche agli
adulti.
La manifestazione vuole essere anche un progetto didattico sociale con le scuole della zona
coinvolte in visite e attività per avvicinare i più piccoli al mondo dell’arte. Tra gli istituti che hanno
aderito con grande entusiasmo si annoverano: Istituto Celli, Istituto Celio Azzurro, Istituto Bimbi di
CRI, Istituto Winckelman e Istituto Maratona.
I partecipanti hanno potuto degustare il vino pregiato “Vedetta” della Cantina “La Cura” di Enrico
Corsi: vini prodotti nella maremma toscana e conservati nei fondali di Cala Violina e in grotte, con
un sapore unico. In particolare il “Vedetta”, è una bottiglia da artisti, perché cura il dettaglio del
senso spirituale del vino, viene immerso in mare e prende un fascino particolare. Secondo il
produttore il sapore è un connubio tra sensazioni tattili e ragionamento. Inoltre la cantina
casertana Cantine del Conte.
Si ringrazia come partner l’Unione Cavalleria Internazionale, che ha fatto una donazione per

On Monday, February 16, 2026, at 5 p.m., the three main halls of Palazzo
Valentini, headquarters of the Prefecture of Rome, hosted the international art exhibition of the renowned multidisciplinary Spanish artist Charo Marin (www.charomarin.com), formerly
a collaborator of the Guggenheim Museum.
The artist has exhibited all over the world and it was his intention to bring his works to Rome. In
Spain, some of his works are exhibited in national museums, and not only there; in the past, he has also exhibited them at the Grand Palais in Paris.
The chosen theme is childhood, and the exhibition is entitled: “His Holiness Childhood.”
This exhibition aims to touch on a subject dear to all of us, that of the world of children and
the period of childhood.
Other European artists will also participate on the same theme. From Poland, Austria, Romania,
France, and the US: Angela Tomaselli, Herbert Schügerl, Daniela Frumuseanu, Vasile Pop-Negresteanu,
Mireille Weinland, Mireya Power, Lukasz L Wodyńsky, and Sol Ruíz Navarro. They will illustrate the stories behind their paintings.
The exhibition is curated by Mayura Malenotti.

The event was preceded by a welcome speech by Councilor Mariano Angelucci, president of the
Capitoline Commission for Tourism, Fashion, and International Relations. Speeches were given by Benito Corradini, president of the La Sponda Foundation, Roberto Simon, representative of the foreign press, and Rita Padovano, who presented the artist and details of the paintings on display.
The exhibition opened with the cutting of the institutional ribbon and the blessing of Father Josè Maria Tortosa.
Actress Sara Biacchi then performed, having recently played Piaf at the Teatro Petrolini,
accompanied musically by the “Amoroso Duo” of Vehbija Hodzic on accordion and Senka Slipac
on violin.
Among the guests were Rossellini's Messiah Pier Maria Rossi, Countess Chiara Anguissola d'Altoè, author and RAI presenter Stefano Bini, fashion designer Eleonora Altamore, former ambassador to Madrid Pietro Sebastiani, the presence of the famous Hollywood costume designer Raffaella Fantasia, known for having participated in films of the caliber of “The Talented Mr. Ripley” (1999), photographer Pepito Torres, entrepreneur Manuele Malenotti, Karina Marino correspondent for Bella Italia, entrepreneur Lamberto Mancini, former director of the Film Festival, Nicoletta Rossotti of the Accademia Internazionale Medicea, the creator of the Latin poetry competition at La Sapienza Michelina Panichi, artists Eleonora Gangi and Claudia Quintieri with internationally renowned photographer Roberto Vignoli, journalist Fabrizio Federici, Francesca Maria Rutili, and architect Paolo Colucci. The evening ended with a toast dedicated to all the children of the world.
The exhibition will be open until February 27, 2026, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with free admission, and will mainly consist of the artist's works, a series of paintings of free expression and inner stories: 13 ½-meter oil paintings without a rational thought, arranged without a specific framework, but left free in the air like flags, which will flutter and take whatever form they want, bringing back memories and fantasies even for adults.
The event also aims to be an educational and social project involving local schools in visits and activities designed to introduce children to the world of art. Among the schools that have
enthusiastically joined the initiative are: Istituto Celli, Istituto Celio Azzurro, Istituto Bimbi di
CRI, Istituto Winckelman, and Istituto Maratona.
Participants were able to taste the fine wine “Vedetta” from Enrico Corsi's “La Cura” winery: wines produced in the Tuscan Maremma and stored in the seabed of Cala Violina and in caves, with a unique flavor. In particular, “Vedetta” is a bottle for artists, because it takes care of the spiritual sense of wine, is immersed in the sea, and takes on a special charm.
